Livestream of my graduate art show from November 2020.

As someone living in the US, cultural themes have become one of my main interests. I keep getting exposed to a variety of different ways of living. Naturally, I also became an ambassador of my own Hispanic heritage.

The goal in most of my paintings is to capture a little bit of a person’s background and to expose other people to different traditions. I have learned several things through doing so, artistically, and culturally. Most of my influences in art have been artists that travel the world and paint what they see. Two examples have been Scott Burdick and Clark Hulings, both representational artists that experiment a lot with textures. Thanks to their examples and to my teachers' guidance I have been able to grow in communicating with others through my art.
