I received my art education at Pensacola Christian College, graduating in 2018 in Studio Art with Advertising and Graphic Design minors. In 2020 I finished my master's with a concentration in Studio Art.
While pursuing my Master's, I worked in customer service at Abeka Book. In 2021 I was able to volunteer hours at a gallery in the area of Pensacola. Interacting with people has enforced my passion for visual communication as well as my admiration for the art community.
The medium that I worked on most is oil painting. Through my work, I try to get to know people. I have learned several things through doing so, artistically, and culturally. Most of my influences in art have been artists that travel the world and paint what they see. Two great examples have been Scott Burdick and Clark Hulings, both representational artists that experiment a lot with textures. Another example is Gladys Roldan who paints faithfully about her Mexican heritage. Thanks to their examples and to my teachers' guidance at school I have been able to grow in communicating with others through my art.
